The individual must prove their knowledge of information security governance, risk management, the development of the information security program, incident response, and the knowledge required for the jurisdiction where the individual works. Those who are interested in gaining CISM certification have to appear for the CISM exam. Along with that, one should have at least 5 years of experience in information security management.
