Introduction
Three key roles plays important role in SAFe implementation. Three key roles which are important at TEAM Level (Other levels are – Program Level, Portfolio Level, Solution Level) –- Agile Team members performing daily operational activities. Team as a whole is responsible for delivery and quality of the work undertaken
- Scrum Master – This person is the servant leader, coaches of the Agile Team. They also help remove impediments and foster an environment for high performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement
- Product Owner – Product Owners (PO) are accountable for User story Prioritization. They help everyone understand the well described stories
Product Owner Activities
According to Scaled Agile Framework, a Product Owner (PO) is part of an Agile Team, enables to prioritize user stories and team backlog thus to contemporize the priorities of program execution. Also, a Product Owner will maintain the technical and conceptual integrity of the features or components for the team. In other words, the Product Owner (PO) is a member of the Agile Team who is responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the team and ensuring that the Team Backlog is aligned with customer and stakeholder needs.Don't miss out - Subscribe to get the latest insights!

Difference between Project Goals and Project Objectives
- Connecting with customer – The PO applies Customer Centricity and Design Thinking. The PO identifies key stakeholders and balances their needs with those of the customer
- Supporting Team in delivering value / Creating value
- NFRs – Managing and Prioritizing Backlog
- Getting and Applying Feedback and improving features of the product or service as the case may be – The PO is critical in enabling the continuous feedback loops that fuel the value stream
- Contributing to the vision and roadmap – The Vision and Roadmap are living artefacts created and adjusted in alignment with business and technical strategy as defined in the business case. The PO assists with communicating the vision and roadmap during PI Planning [Program Increment (PI)-A time-managed period (usually eight to 12 weeks long) in a SAFe environment, A Program Increment (PI) is a time-box during which an Agile Release Train (ART) delivers incremental value] to ensure teams are aligned and ready to execute against them. Project’s Goals and Objectives plays an important role
